Rev. Dr. Ernest Peets Jr., D-Min
Marriage & Family Therapist
Dr. Ernest Peets Jr is the founder of The Counseling Center.  A native Bermudian, Dr. Peets Jr. attended undergraduate school at Howard University in Washington D.C. receiving a B.A. in Business in 1993.  He received an M-Div. from Nazarene Theological Seminary in 1999, and Dr. Peets received his doctorate in May 2008 in Marriage & Family Therapy from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.

Dr. Peets Jr. is also the Pastor of New Life Church of the Nazarene, a post he assumed in 1999.  Dr. Peets Jr. is an experienced counselor who is able to blend biblical and psychological principles that bring insight and healing.  He is an experieced small group leader, and is trained counselor in the Prepare-Enrich program by Life Innovations, and is certified in Therapeutic Crises Intervention.  Dr. Peets is also sought after speaker for conferences and workshops on marriage and family, and can be heard occasionally on Medical Radio on HoTT 107.5FM

Dr. Peets Jr. is a Senior Probation Officer at the Department of Court Services and the cordinator for Bermud's Drug Treatment Court.  Dr, Peets is also a Professional Member of the American Association of Counselors and the American Psychological Association.  Dr Peets has been married for twelve years, and has four children.

Dr. Henry Dowling, MD
Medical Consultant

A native Bermudian, Dr. Dowling attended undergraduate school at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, receiving a B.A. in Psychology 1995. He received his Medical Doctorate from Emory Medical School in Atlanta, Georgia in 1999.

Dr. Dowling completed a hospital-based internship in Family Medicine at Overlook Hospital (Columbia and UMDNJ affiliate) New Jersey.  Dr. Dowling is in private practice with Associated in Integrated Health, and is sought after speaker on health and relationship issues, and is the host of Medical Radio - a call in radio show which airs weekly on HoTT 107.5FM.

Dr. Lisa Greene-Henderson, LPC. Psy.D
Consultant Psychologist

Dr. Lisa Greene-Henderson is a clinical psychologist licensed to practice professional psychology in the state of Maryland and the District of Columbia, USA; a licensed professional counselor in the District of Columbia, USA; a National Certified Counselor in the USA; and a registered clinical psychologist on the island of Bermuda. She holds a Masters of Arts degree in Community Counseling from the George Washington University, Washington, DC, and a Doctorate of Psychology in Professional Psychology (Clinical Psychology) from the George Washington University, Washington, DC, USA. Dr. Greene-Henderson has more than twelve years of clinical and work experience in the mental health field.  She has particular expertise in psychological testing and assessment, and is proficient in assessing children, adolescents, and adults.

Dr. Greene-Henderson is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Bermuda Psychological Association.  She has presented at the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers 2009 conference; and has been invited to speak at various organizations on topics including parenting, child development, depression in women, and domestic violence.

Gina Spinicelli, MA

Gina Spinicelli is a graduate of The University of Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Social Work in 2001 and earned a Master of Arts in Criminology from Boston University in 2008.  Gina has a wealth of experience working in a variety of fields including Social Work, Probation Services, Mental Health, with a special interest in victim advocacy.  Gina has worked with spectrum of clients, ranging from youth to families.  With insight and compassion, Gina is able to assist her clients in finding solutions to their problems, and is able to empower clients, so they take responsibility for their own mental health and wellbeing.

Gina is particularly experienced in working with at risk youth and their families, as wells as persons with addiction issues, special needs, and persons who require therapeutic support due to domestic violence or victims of crime.  With over eight years of experience, Gina has a proven track record of success in ensuring her clients receive the assistance they require to live healthy, happy, and productive lives.

Gina is an excellent speaker and group facilitator for community agencies and schools regarding Substance Abuse, Life Skills, Violence and Gang activity.
